Question by commonhaterofeverythingfyouropinion: Will an aftermarket remote start system fit in my 99 mercury cougar?
Im not 100% sure if the car already came with a keyless entry system, I dont think it did. When I got the car it only had two keys and no remotes. The car is equipped with a security system though. Is it possible to get an aftermarket remote starter or atleast aftermarket keyless entry?

Answer by Mike
My 99 cougar came with keyless entry, so yours should have too. If you really want remote start then just go with an aftermarket system that has a keyless entry. Mercury would charge a good bit of money for a new keyless remote I bet, so might as well go aftermarket. No idea how much it would cost though.
